Primary Liaison
Crookhorn College works very closely with all of its local primary and junior schools.
Throughout the academic year, pupils get the chance to visit Crookhorn on multiple occasions and take part in a variety of activities and events from science to technology to catering.

What’s it all about?
The Technology of Memory
AM/PM session where pupils work with our specialist technology staff to produce USB memory sticks.
The Science behind Science
An am/pm interactive theatre-based activity where pupils find out how Science allows us to do amazing things like flying. Do you know how a jet engine works and allows a plane to take off!
Junior MasterChef
Gifted & talented pupils work in our food technology/catering kitchens to develop recipes.
Open Evening
An opportunity for Year 6 students and their parents to look around the College and get a really good feel for the Crookhorn ethos, our facilities, curriculum and extra-curricular offer.
Winter Show Matinee
Come and watch our annual College production before anyone else gets to see it.
Math’s Olympiad
Annual numeracy based event wherein an afternoon a group of gifted and talented mathematicians from your school will compete against other schools to solve a series of math’s challenges.
Professor Cranium
An afternoon of events where pupils get the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the science in the world around us whilst competing against other schools.
Press Gang
Annual Literacy based event wherein an afternoon a group of budding reporters from your school will compete against other schools to create a newspaper based on their interviews with some very special celebrities.
Happy Snappers
Four after-College sessions where pupils get an introduction to the world of digital photography.
Bright Buttons
A day of activities to stretch your gifted & talented students.
Dragons Den
An afternoon of events where pupils get the opportunity to work with our friends from Caterpillar Crafts to follow a brief and create a product that will then be judged by a panel of ‘experts’.
