We had a brilliant camping trip with the Year 11’s this weekend where we really got to know the students on a whole new level. This year group have had very few residentials in their time at Crookhorn (due to the pandemic) and missed out on the Summer Camp in Year 7.

The staff were so impressed with the attitude shown by all the students and the campfire provided by Mrs Duncan and Mrs Bennett was a real highlight. Not many of our students have experienced things like this before, and they were all grateful for the opportunity.

We have a long road ahead with this year group, but through talking to them I sense they are up for the challenge of the examinations.
