A Shared Vision for Inclusion: Crookhorn College Welcomes Stephen Morgan MP

Stephen Morgan MP recently visited Crookhorn College to engage with students and staff in a meaningful discussion on inclusion and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
During his visit, he and Headteacher Sarah Bennett explored the importance of fostering an educational environment where every student, regardless of attainment levels or challenge, feels valued and supported. The team at Crookhorn shared their perspectives on how government policies could better address the needs of SEN students, ensuring they have access to tailored resources and opportunities to thrive academically and socially.
Beyond discussions, Mr. Morgan had the chance to witness the vibrant life of Crookhorn College first-hand. He observed students showcasing their talents in drama, music, physical education, and alternative games, offering insights into the significance of a broad and balanced curriculum. The students also highlighted the vital role of pastoral care in their overall well-being, emphasising how the college’s guiding principles, OPEN MIND and GO WEST, foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
